5-6-05 Friday
Our last day... today we drove into Saguaro National Park, essentially a Saguaro cactus farm. After a brief episode of nausea (Roger) we continued on to Kitt Peak National Observatory, elevation 7000'. We saw several huge telescopes including the largest solar telescope in the world. Then through a couple Indian reserveration to Casa Grande, ruins left by desert people from the 1300's. Had dinner at a little mom & pop place in Coolidge (Tag's Cafe), found our hotel in Tempe, visited a local outlet mall and came back to pack up for the return home tomorrow. It's been a fun and full trip!
